Today is César Chávez Day… which basically means that I have no classes.
Not being a California native, I was completely unaware of César Chávez Day (until my recent discovery that campus would be closed today.) I know a little bit about Chávez. I know he was a union and labor activist and founded United Farm Workers. That’s cool and all. I mean, he was an important guy.
